The project for my graduation work has not yet been fully defined. However, the aim is to develop a games collection and to promote gaming in a public library through activities and events.

Article 1
Game On ! Reflections of a Board Game Librarian : An examination and Application of Non-Traditional Collections and Recreational Play in the Academic Library
The article discusses the integration of non-traditional collections with a particular focus on board games.
The article is interesting for my graduation work because it explains the steps used by a board game librarian to create, manage and promote a games collection in a library.
The librarian also highlights the challenges and benefits associated with setting and managing this type of collection.

ClaG : A classification system for plays and games in toys libraries and libraries
This article from 2025 presents a new classification system specifically designed for toy libraries and libraries.

This classification simplifies shelving which improves access to games and therefore mediation.

This article is interesting because it is recent and allows us to study the impact of classification on the promotion of board games and the visibility of games in the games library.

The shape and state of gaming in UK libraries
This article presents the results of a survey done in libraries in the United Kingdom on the integration of board games and video games in libraries.

This survey is interesting for my graduation work because it provides information that I can compare with surveys done in Belgium and France.
The aim is to identify the type of games that would be the most suitable for a public library.
